Series 1

1.01 - The Dragon's Call
Gwen: (about Morgana) She looks great, doesn't she?
Merlin: Yeah.
Gwen: Some people are just born to be queen.

I just don't think chopping someone's head off is cause for a celebration.

You know, the more brutal you are, the more enemies you will create!

You know, I've been thinking about Arthur. I wouldn't touch him with a lance pole. Pass me that dress, will you Gwen? I mean, the man's a total jouster. And just because I'm the King's ward, doesn't mean I have to accompany him to the feast, does it?

So, it's whether I wear this little tease... or give them a night they'll really remember.

Arthur: I stood up and... Morgana enters. All the boys stop and stare at her
Arthur: God have mercy.
Gaius: Merlin. Remember, you're here to work.
Merlin: Oh, yeah.
Arthur: Morgana, you look well...
1.02 - Valiant
Morgana: They all seem rather impressed by Knight Valiant.
Arthur: They're not the only ones.
Morgana: You're not jealous, are you?
Arthur: I don't see there's anything to be jealous of.
Arthur walks away
Morgana: Could Arthur be any more annoying? I so hope Knight Valiant wins the tournament.
Gwen: You don't really mean that.
Morgana: Yes, I do.

Morgana: Let me. she adjusts his armour I used to help my father with his armour.
Arthur: Thanks.
Morgana: Arthur, be careful.

Arthur: My Lady.
Morgana: My champion.

Morgana: Tell me about it. It's not every day a girl gets to save her prince.
Arthur: I wouldn't say I needed exactly saving.
Morgana: So you're too proud to admit you were saved by a girl.
1.03 - The Mark of Nimueh
Arthur: Father would slam us both in chains if he knew I endangered you.
Morgana: Good thing he doesn't know about it, then.
Arthur: I'm telling you, Morgana. Turn back. You could get hurt.
Morgana: So could you, if you don't get out of my way.

Poor Merlin. He offered to give up his life to save Gwen's. I certainly can't imagine any man loving me so much.

Sadly, the age of gallantry seems to be dead. You look around and all you see are small men, not big enough to fill their armour. There's not one of them that's able to stand up for what is right.

I've seen the way the girl works. Her fingers are worn, her nails are broken. If she was a sorceress, why would she do this? Why would she kneel on a cold stone floor morning after morning when she could make these things happen with a snap of her fingers, like an idle king.

1.04 - The Poisoned Chalice
Morgana: Say what you like about the food, but you can't beat our feasts for entertainment.
Arthur: Morgana, I'm sorry. I should have made sure you were alright.
Morgana: Disappointed, actually. Was looking forward to clumping a couple round the head with a ladle.

Why let the boys have all the fun?

Sometimes you have to do what you think is right and damn the consequences.

1.06 - A Remedy to Cure All Ills
Uther: Morgana! This is truly a miracle! I thought... I really thought...
Morgana: Oh, you won't get rid of me that easily.

1.07 - The Gates of Avalon
Gaius: I've been watching Morgana since she was very young and, though I tried to persuade myself otherwise, I realise that some of the things she said she dreamt came to pass. I kept it secret from Uther, of course. The gift of prophecy is too close to the work of magic.

Arthur: You. Your feelings, bad dreams. You don't have to make this stuff up. You can tell me the truth. It's obvious you like me.
Morgana: Less and less by the second.

Morgana: He hates magic more than he cares for me.
Gwen: That's not true.

1.08 - The Beginning of the End
My lord, you know I respect you too much to ever betray you like that.

Perhaps the boy is hiding in your chambers. They're usually such a mess, you'd never know.

What if... magic isn't something you choose? What if it chooses you?

1.10 - The Moment of Truth
Gwen: You're going to need all the help you can get. I can mend armour and sharpen swords.
Morgana: And I know how to fight.

1.12 - To Kill The King
Morgana: I know how he respected you, my lord. But I don't share these memories. How can I? I was ten years old. I only know I loved him and he was taken from me.
Uther: When he died, and I took you into my care, you fought me from the beginning. Your will is as strong as my own. You challenge me as a friend must, as your father did in his time.
Morgana: But when I do, you clap me in irons!

More than ever, I want Uther dead- as much as you, as much as anyone in this rotten kingdom of his.

You. How proud you must be, son of the mighty Uther. How you must look up to him. Does the king's little helper bring a message or have you just come to gloat?

Thank you. You're a better man than your father. Always were.

Morgana: You have blood on your hands, Uther Pendragon. Blood that will never wash off!
Uther: May I remind you that you're speaking to your king!
Morgana: May I remind you that a king is wise and just. You are neither. You rule only with the sword.
Uther: You know nothing of what it means to be king. The fate of Camelot rests in my hands. It's my responsibility to protect the people of this land from its enemies.
Morgana: Then the kingdom is doomed. For one by one, you make enemies of us all.
Uther: You speak treason, Morgana.
Morgana: Only a mad man hears the truth as treason!
Uther: Take care, child, or I'll have you restrained.
Morgana: You just try.

That you care not for me, or anyone but yourself. That you are driven mad with power. That you are a tyrant!

1.13 - Le Morte d'Arthur
Please, Merlin, you must beware. This is only the beginning.

Series 2

Series 4

4.11: The Hunter's Heart
Morgana: Take care not to get too distracted, Helios, there is still much to do. Once I am crowned Queen of Camelot you may indulge yourself all you wish.
Helios: I may keep you to your word.
Morgana: I look forward to it.

Morgana: Who is this woman?
Helios: A serving wench I recently acquired, no more. Check the river.
Morgana: Does this woman have a name?
Helios: Guinevere.
Morgana: Your appetite has betrayed you. She's no serving wench. We must find her. Now!

Helios: She could be anywhere by now.
Morgana: There is only one place she will go. To Camelot... and to Arthur.

Morgana: Gwen. How nice to see you again. You'd forgotten I've hunted in these woods since I was a child.
Gwen: Leave me alone. You've already done enough harm.
Morgana: You misjudge me. We were friends once, were we not? I only wish to help. The path to Camelot is that way.
Gwen: You think I'd ever trust you again?
Morgana: True... I might be lying. But perhaps not.
Gwen: I know these woods too.
Morgana: Truth is, it doesn't matter which way you go. You wish to see your beloved Arthur again, and so you shall.

4.12: The Sword In The Stone, Part 1
Gaius: It seems your victory is short lived, Morgana.
Morgana: Prepare the horses. We're going on a hunt.

Agravaine: Camelot is now under our control. Some knights have fled to the woods, but those that did not escape are either in our dungeons or dead.
Morgana: Very good. Have the people of Camelot welcomed me as their Queen?
Agravaine: They will swear allegiance to no one but Arthur.
Morgana: I expected no less. Burn their crops. Let's see how they feel when their children begin to starve.

Gaius: Have you come to gloat, my lady?
Morgana: Is that any way to treat an old friend? I'll forgive you, after all you're not looking your best.
Sir Gwaine: Can't you see he's starving? We all are.
Morgana: Of course you are, after you killed so many of my men. I'll have the kitchen prepare you a feast.
Sir Gwaine: I think not of myself, but of Gaius. He can't survive long without food.
Morgana: Oh, Gwaine. So handsome, so selfless. Of course you shall have some supper... as long as you're prepared to sing for it.

4.13: The Sword In The Stone, Part 2
Morgana: So you've another chance to sing for your supper. I thought I might make it a little harder this time.
Sir Gwaine: Seems fair.
Morgana: Oh, but you can't fight with your bare hands (Gives him a small wooden sword) Never mind. You're a Knight of Camelot, you'll be fine.

Morgana: There's only one person who could've done this. Only one man who could command a dragon. This is the work of Emrys.

Helios: We've searched everywhere. He fled, Morgana. He trembled at the sight of you.
Morgana: Then why was he here? Why does he choose to taunt me like this?
Helios: We must hold our nerve. Maybe you should get some sleep.
Morgana: Make sure there are guards on the door.

Morgana: Welcome, dear brother. It's been far too long. I apologise if you had a difficult reception. It's hard to know who to trust these days.
Arthur: What happened to you, Morgana? I thought we were friends.
Morgana: As did I. But alas, we were both wrong.
Arthur: You can't blame me for my father's sins.
Morgana: It's a little late for that. You've made it perfectly clear how you feel about me and my kind. You're not as different from Uther as you like to think.
Arthur: Nor are you.
Morgana: I'm going to enjoy killing you, Arthur Pendragon. Not even Emrys can save you now.

Gwen: What did I do to make you hate me so much?
Morgana: It's not what you did, it's what you are destined to do. I'm sorry, Gwen but I can never let that happen.
