Fanlisting Facts
• The Fanlistings Network was originally created and run by Janine Mischor in May 2000.
• The oldest fanlisting of the network (and the first to be ever approved), was the fanlisting for the tv show Buffy the vampire Slayer. The fanlisting is still up and running, maintained by the original owner (and founder of the network), Janine, and can be found here. I was opened on March 5th 2000.
• The lagest fanlisting currently listed at the network is for actor Orlando Bloom, currently maintained by Mellissa and has over 25,000 fans listed since 2001. The closest runner up is the fanlisting for the Harry Potter books & movies series fanlisting, run by Anna, Rae & Susan, with over 22,000 fans listed since January 2002.
• There are currently almost 45,000 fanlistings listed at the network. At one point the number of fanlistings listed hit and passed 50,000.
• TFL is run and updated by a team of 67 Staffers, Senior Staffers and Developpers, assisted by no less than 109 Toubles Checkers. And all these people are volunteers.
&bull, Since the creation of TFL many similar networks have been created. The most know are The Anime Fanlistings, The Hatelistings, The Physical Fanlistings & The Taboolistings.
